Emet Surgical was established by a cancer survivor to develop and deliver tools that improve surgery outcomes. The founder researched the potential causes of his cancer recurrence and identified a frequent problem, ineffective communication between surgeons and pathologists when performing intraoperative frozen section exams. He set out to develop solutions and establish a team to bring them to market.
